Description
TBL Mission Critical specializes in Data Center Service and Maintenance. We also manufacture, test, and commission data centers worldwide. We are a small company that is growing fast among the industry and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee and ensure the safety of our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to safeguard employees, contractors, and the public.
- Safety Program Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve safety programs and policies in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local, state, and federal safety laws. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training sessions and workshops for employees, subcontractors, and management. Ensure that all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of safety incidents, near misses, and accidents. Analyze root causes and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Safety Equipment and Procedures: Oversee the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure that safety procedures are followed during all phases of construction.
- Risk Assessment: Perform regular risk assessments and hazard analyses. Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training activities. Prepare and present safety reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills. Ensure all employees are familiar with emergency procedures.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- CPR Certified
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred not required

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30-Hour) are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management, with a proven track record of successfully implementing safety programs and managing safety compliance on construction sites.
