Samir Shah is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TBL, a premier data center construction, service, maintenance, and design partner in the industry. With a strong track record as a tenured C-Level executive for growth stage private equity companies, Samir brings extensive experience in managing and scaling businesses to TBL.
At TBL, Samir is responsible for overseeing all internal functions, including service analytics and reporting, ensuring the highest level of performance and customer satisfaction. Additionally, he has led the global data center delivery for F100 companies, including Goldman Sachs, overseeing the construction and deployment of their first data centers in Singapore and the UK.
Samir holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, as well as an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His deep understanding of both business strategy and technical engineering has helped shape TBL’s approach to data center design and construction, providing innovative and effective solutions for their clients. Under his leadership, TBL has become a trusted partner for some of the world’s most demanding organizations, delivering reliable and scalable data center solutions that meet the needs of the modern digital landscape.
Marvin Rowell III is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TBL, a premier data center construction, service, maintenance, and design partner in the industry. With over a decade of operational experience managing data centers ranging from 80,000 sq.ft to 600,000 sq.ft and over 50 megawatts of critical systems, Marvin is a seasoned veteran in the data center industry.
Prior to co-founding TBL, Marvin served as VP of Global Support and Service for BASELAYER and as Director of Operations for IO Data Centers, where he installed over 500 customers globally, including both colocation and enterprise clients. He also played a pivotal role in growing a colocation startup company into a $1.3B+ global business.
Marvin’s expertise in data center design and construction is unparalleled, having commissioned and installed over 100 Anywhere modules globally. His extensive knowledge of critical systems and operational efficiency has helped TBL become a trusted partner for some of the world’s largest organizations.
Before entering the data center industry, Marvin spent 10 years as a commercial electrician, gaining hands-on experience in electrical systems and installation. His unique blend of technical expertise and operational experience has made him an invaluable asset to TBL and their clients.
